Believe it or not, some of our very first partners are still with us today. Since 1968, a great deal has changed in our industry. But our original goal of delivering a comprehensive agent program to our financial institution partners remains our key focus. We were concentrated in Wisconsin, and now we are in all 50 states. Certainly our products have changed, which used to be a single price point with no rewards. Now we have a comprehensive suite of products for all areas of the credit spectrum. From a reporting standpoint, we used to have reams of paper that we would deliver to our clients and now all of that is automated through our Client Resource Center. Every day our Elan employees deliver exceptional credit card product and service to over 1400 clients in the United States. That means one in every eight financial institutions in the United States are served by Elan with over $25 billion in annual sales volume eight times every second every day, one of our 5 million card holders is using an Elan credit card to make a purchase. In 1966, our predecessor first started offering credit cards to their customers. In 1968 that had evolved to offering credit cards to agent bank partners that have signed up to the program. In 1982, we changed our name to Elan, and by 2018 After 50 years of success, if we were a standalone company, Elan would be a top 15 General Purpose credit card issuer in the US. These new partnerships have allowed Elan to reach and maintain the scale to drive continued investment into the program allowing our partners to compete with national issuers. This success has continued in the present, as since 2016, Elan has signed 243 new partners ranging from banks to credit unions, these new partnerships represent a potential 6 million new card members.
