Today Elan helps nearly 1,500 financial institutions navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape and offers leading edge technology solutions. Year after year, our partners remain pleased with the Elan solution, and we have realized a very strong renewal rate. Today when financial institutions are setting the strategic direction of their credit card program, many are weighing the challenge of self-managing their cards versus outsourcing to an agent issuer like Elan. Elan provides a turnkey solution for portfolio conversion, which allows our partners card programs to hit the ground running with an experienced provider. The intent of this video is to share our experience by outlining key stages of the portfolio conversion process. While terms and contracts are reviewed, Elan creates a conversion plan proactively identifying potential issues that may arise during the process. Once contracts are signed, a deconversion date is set, establishing the date that Elan will begin to solely process and service your credit files. The interim servicing period is established, which runs from the time the portfolio was purchased until the conversion is complete, typically 28 weeks. Simultaneously, the conversion process officially kicks off with the transmission of the first set of data files. From here a fact-finding call is held and Elan develops a formal conversion project plan. Elan's conversion team begins data mapping and validation and receives historical statements.
